Homeschooling Rocks!

The boys have taken the last 2 days off because they had a friend over. They will spend all day catching up now. Not that it takes them long. It seems that all they do is a learning experience here at home. We have set courses for their English and Math. The rest is self learning. They tend to learn what they are interested in. And through this process I am learning more about the boys themselves. For instance, they are both good cooks. And they enjoy it.
Jules made the most awesome cookies the other day! And they cook their own lunches often. They always use lots of veggies in any basic sauce they may. So they are probably eating better than most school kids.
Jules is a computer /gaming nerd. We therefore encourage it. He is now reading his Dad's A+ certification books and may take the test next year if he so desires. And he reads constantly!
 Daniel gets to spend all the time he wants outside looking for bugs, bones, anything that catches his interest. Who cares if there's a small bear skull in his room, right? He is also quite a photographer. Takes photos of everything. Nature mostly... And he draws.. He did not do that in school as he seemed mad or irritated all the time.
It's nice to meet my boys again.. I missed them!
