I have been an active person in social media since 1996. I still have the same email that i started with that same year.
When I began it was to connect with people when moving to a new province. I left Ontario to move to Saskatchewan with a new family and knowing no one there. To this day I still chat with some of my friends from there.

I spend even more time online now that I spend at least 10 hours a day here on my computer. I believe that it truly is a great thing! :)
My full time job is now online support. This consists of Facebook, twitter, online marketing .. and sooo much more for The Couples Resort
Of my 3 teenage children only one is tuly connected to the social media of the internet. My 18 yr old daughter uses mostly her cell. Texting seems to be a great part of her life. She also Facebooks and uses the internet for all info seeking.
My 16 yr old son is a game nut! He is only online on his XBox. Kinda social.. since he is into online gaming!
And our youngest son at 14 .. well.. You tube seems to be his internet addiction. He watches videos non stop if allowed. Can't complain because he actually learns some things from these videos.
So tell me, could you live with out your Social Media for any period of time??
