So I needed the car yesterday. We have only one vehicle right now, so this is a pain. I got up at 6am to drive Jay to work. Jay works at the Couples Resort in Whitney. It's about a 30 minute jaunt. On the way there we got to see a Mama turkey with her three little ones crossing the road. Wild turkeys are really making a comeback here in our part of Ontario.
At the end of his work day, I made the return trip to Whitney. Well, this was even a better drive up. I have not seen many moose this year. Yesterday, I hit the jackpot. A mama and twin calves!! Yippee.. And they actually let me sit and watch them without making a run for it. Unfortunately, no camera. :-(
Some days, I really like living up here!
